MCU 62^nd Anniversary Traffic Control, Transportation and Lunchbox Collection Notice

 

【Traffic Control】

1. Motorcycles：

(1)Faculty and staff members, please park your motorcycles in your original parking space (Those with no fixed parking space may park motorcycles in B2 motorcycle parking lot.).

(2)Students can only park their motorcycles in B2 motorcycle parking lot.

       2.Vehicles：

【Parking space is limited; please take the shuttle bus if at all possible】

(1)No parking is allowed in Q building basement parking lot.

(2)Special guests’ vehicles are to be parked at the outdoor basketball court.

(3)Administrators with red MCU car parking permit, please park in EE building basement parking lot. Faculty and staff members who have parking permits for Q and EE Buildings, please cooperate by not parking in these two buildings on that day.

(4)Faculty and staff members with yellow and blue MCU parking permits, please park at B1 student motorcycle parking lot or the car parking lot of Chengkung Vocational Senior High School.

(5)Students (with car parking permits) are to park in the parking lot of Chengkung Vocational Senior High School.

(6)Faculty members who drive to attend the celebration and cocktail party, please park in the parking lot of Chengkung Vocational Senior High School.

(7)For parking at Chengkung Vocational Senior High School, vehicles should please enter and exit from Ming De Road, then persons should walk to Chengkung area and enter MCU campus from the side gate. The parking period is from 8:00AM to 5:00PM on that day.

       3.On the date of the University anniversary, no parking is allowed in Chengkung area (Parking spaces are reserved for special guests.). Parking is also not allowed at student outdoor car parking lot or parking spaces along the campus roadways (including the road to Chengkung area).

       4.Large tour buses, stage-setting trucks and vendors’ trucks should be parked outside of campus.

       5.VIP parking permits:

• Taipei campus: Please contact Ms. Hsu, Chi-Fu (ext. 2230) of Operations Section, General Affairs Division to apply and collect.
• Taoyuan campus: Please contact Ms. Cheng, Ya-Ling (ext. 5111) of Taoyuan Campus Administration Division, to apply and collect.

 

【Transportation】

1. Jiujiu Bus will serve as the means of transportation (including staff and faculty) for the anniversary.
2. Shuttle bus for anniversary event staff members:

• Shuttle bus from Taipei campus will depart at 07:00 AM from Exit 2, MRT Jiantan Station (opposite of No. 22, Jihe Rd)
• Shuttle bus from Taipei Main Station will depart at 07:00 from Exit 7 of MRT Taipei Main Station (next to Cosmos Hotel / in front of No. 25, Sec. 1, Zhongxiao W. Rd. Sheng Da Chuang).
• The shuttle bus will depart at 07:50 AM from Taoyuan Train Station; please board the shuttle bus in front of Far Eastern Department Store.
• You may disembark at Taoyuan Campus.

       3.Faculty and staff members, please take the shuttle bus you have registered for.

• Bus from Taipei campus: The shuttle bus will depart at 07:30 AM from Exit 2 of MRT JianTan Station (opposite of No.22, Jihe Road).
• Shuttle bus from Taipei Main Station will depart at 07:30AM from MRT Taipei Main Station (next to Cosmos Hotel / in front of No. 25, Sec. 1, Zhongxiao W. Rd. Sheng Da Chuang).
• Bus from Taoyuan Train Station: The shuttle bus will depart at 08:20 AM from in front of Far Eastern Department Store.
• You may disembark at Chengkung area.
• The return shuttle bus after Cocktail Party will depart at 11:40 from Chengkung Vocational Senior High School.
• The return shuttle bus in the afternoon to MRT JianTan Station or Taoyuan Train Station will depart 20 minutes after the Creative Cheerleading Dance Competition from in front of CC Building (Information Network Building).

       4.Shuttle bus for administrators：

• A shuttle bus will depart at 07:30 AM in front of A Building → Exit 1, MRT Jiantan Station (on the Zhong Shan N. Rd. side) → Chengkung area
• A shuttle bus will depart at 08:30 AM from Taoyuan Campus (in front of CC Building) → Chengkung area
• The return shuttle bus will depart 20 minutes after the Creative Cheerleading Dance Competition from in front of CC Building → Taipei Campus A Building.
• Administrators who want to take the shuttle bus to the dinner venue, please board the bus in front of CC Building. The bus will depart at 05:45 PM and head to Taoyuan Chuto Plaza Hotel.

       5.Shuttle bus service will be provided to and from Taoyuan Campus and Chengkung area during 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bus stops are CC Building and 2nd Gymnasium, Chengkung area.

 

【Lunchbox Collection Information】

1. Lunchboxes will be ready for collection at the event venue in Chengkung area from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM or at the 1st floor of Taoyuan Campus Food Service Facility II from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Please bring your ticket to exchange for a lunchbox based on your preference per the submitted survey.
2. Faculty and staff members may take a rest in M102, M102-1, M105 or M106 of Design Building.
